June is recognized nationwide as Mental Health Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness, reducing stigma, and strengthening the support systems that help individuals and families thrive. At The HYPE Foundation, we believe mental wellness is a cornerstone of empowerment. When young people feel seen, supported, and equipped with healthy tools, they are better positioned to lead, learn, and build strong futures.

Purple and Gold Mentoring Program (PGMP)
The Purple and Gold Mentoring Program (PGMP) is a culturally grounded initiative designed to inspire and equip participants as they pursue academic success and personal growth. Through Intentional engagement with cultural values and dynamics, participants develop essential skills that prepare them to lead with purpose and serve as positive role models in their communities. PGMP empowers young people with the confidence, resilience, and social tools needed to navigate distractions and overcome barriers on their journey toward excellence—both in the classroom and in life.

We raise funds through various methods campaigns for scholarships.
The HYPE Foundation recognized the importance of intellect in all matters pertaining to the advancement of humankind. As such, they made scholarship the foundation of our mission. Scholarship is no side issue – it is an integral and deep-rooted component of this foundation.
Annually, we give scholarships of $1000 – $2000 to high school seniors who are college bound.
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
It is no secret that STEM education is critical in helping the United States maintain a presence in the global stage of technology. STEM education in our schools is essential to spark an interest in pursuing a STEM career for our youth.
The HYPE Foundation is honored to engage in STEM initiatives that are designed to get students excited about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). A STEM program will help students assemble the skills that are needed to prepare for jobs in coding, robotics, electronics, technology, energy, and engineering. We will partner with the local school system and colleges in order to introduce secondary education students to STEM and STEM careers.
